Navajo Native American Turquoise Sterling Silver 925 Ring Sz 5.5 Estate Find
I was fortunate recently to have taken a buying trip throughout the Southwest, visiting trading posts, small shops, and pawn shops where the Native American community goes to buy and sell the wonderful sterling silver jewelry pieces they are so famous for. The best part though was meeting all of the people, artists, and shop owners. I'm busy now listing all of my finds, they are all guaranteed authentic Native American, some of them old pawn, and I'll list the artist if I have that information.
This is a classic Navajo design ring showing scattered scratch and a nice patina. It was acquired at a business on Hwy Route 66 in Gallup, New Mexico. It is not marked but does test as sterling. The ring measures 7/8" at the longest and can easily be re-sized.
